As a creative, you’re always on a journey. You aspire to improve and are always looking to take the next step. Goals change. Purpose changes. Design just can’t be “pretty” – it must be functional,  accessible, and memorable while staying on brand.

The Balance

I’ve been fortunate to work for creative agencies for over 16 years. I've been able to explore different roles from graphic designer and art director, to project and account manager.

While my passion lives in a right-brained world, I realized there needed to be a balance between the creative and analytical to produce effective design. Adding UX studies to my graphic design experience was clearly a natural fit, a way to intertwine all my aspirations.

I should have seen it long ago. As a child, I wanted it all – to be an artist, a veterinarian, and an architect. This was my path all along: be empathetic, design with purpose, design for all.

I also take time to enrich my life. A former competitive swimmer, I'm now a disc golfing mom who enjoys painting, concerts, plant-based cooking, gardening, and learning to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
